Car dashboard

A dashboard screen made of nested systems: a clock and two pods, each a satellite with its own rings inside.

How it's built

  • The universe is 2:1, so the reach is its height. The clock fills the middle, and the pods sit on orbit-17, past the edge of the circle but inside the wide box.
  • Two satellites alone on a ring are spread half a turn apart. --o-from: 90deg on the ring turns that pair to right and left.
  • The clock and each pod are satellites with a .gravity-spot inside. Every system starts from the defaults, so their rings are counted from their own edge: the seconds ticks, the battery ring and the climate arc.
  • The climate buttons are two satellites on one ring of the pod, so they land at the top and the bottom with no angles.
  • The clock ticks with a one-second timer that lights the .vectors up to the current second.
